Epworth Old Rectory hosts an exhibition: \u2018Methodist Women in Britain\u2019.<\/p>\n

The exhibition explores the history of Methodist Women in Britain and includes the portrait of Caroline Wiseman, one of the most influential of Methodist women and founder of the Easter Offering.<\/p>\n

The exhibition also showcases objects from the Methodist Women\u2019s Collection (MWC) that tell fascinating stories about famous and everyday Methodist women from the past and present\u00a0and highlights the significance of MWC as a unique feminist collection \u2013 a collection collected by women for women.<\/p>\n

By displaying objects that relate to Methodist women and their personal histories, we hope to connect with and engage Methodist women and women of other religions or no religion at all with the exhibition and stories told.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
