Saturday 6 December 2025: Peace among Nations, Peace within Hearts<\/h1>\n

Reflection<\/h3>\n

On 8 December 1955, the Council of Europe adopted the European flag as a symbol of unity, cooperation, and shared hope. As the world continues to experience division and conflict, we pray for Europe and all nations: – That they would choose dialogue over violence, welcome over walls, and peace over pride.<\/p>\n

Prayer<\/h3>\n

Lord of all nations,<\/p>\n

We thank you for moments in history that point to unity and shared purpose.
\nWe pray for the continent of Europe,
\nfor its churches to be renewed,
\nits leaders to be guided by wisdom,
\nand its people to live with open hearts.<\/p>\n

In a time of rising tensions and growing fears,
\nMake us peacemakers.
\nHelp us sow peace in our families,
\nin our communities, and across borders.<\/p>\n

Let your peace begin with us.<\/p>\n

In Jesus\u2019 name we pray. Amen.<\/p>\n
