Hope in the Creator of our World
‘Sometimes we just need to go outside to realise that our worries are small compared to the magnificence of God’s creation.’
I was able to witness this in Switzerland in the Italian part, which is called Tessin. I went for a walk in the Selvaggio valley with my husband and a girlfriend.
I was able to witness a wonderful waterfall and see how powerful it was just cascading down over a ridge to the river below. It was really wonderful to watch and it reminded me of the power of God who has created this waterfall. Jesus said water is life and I could really see that in this waterfall. He quoted that ‘He will give us the water of life through the Holy Spirit and that we will never thirst again.’ The sound of the waterfall was also powerful but at the same time soothing and comforting to listen to. This reminded me also what the Holy Spirit does for us.
I would have liked to have stayed longer just listening and watching this waterfall. But the change of weather meant I had to move on.

Loving God our father
We need your love and guidance even more now than ever, when we see what is going on around us in the world. We pray that you will bless and protect us to continue on our journey with you. Please help us not to forget the times when you were there for us in difficult situations.
