Easter Offering Services list‘Child, get up!’ is the title of the Easter Offering dedication service for 2016. This year the focus of the service is the work being done, supported by the World Mission Fund, to bring ‘life in all its fullness’ to Dalit women and girls.
This year, for the first time, Children’s Resources associated with the theme of the Easter Offering service have been prepared. They are available here, on the Methodist Church website and in the Spring Rainbow magazine, due out in early March. They give children insights into the daily lives of Dalit children living in extreme poverty in India, and include ideas for discussion, prayer and practical activities. They are suitable for use in Junior Church, uniformed groups, Messy Church and more, especially with children from 7-16.
