I am blessed to live in God’s own Country, North Yorkshire surrounded by the wonderful Dales where my husband and I have farmed for nearly fifty years (we are just about accepted as locals now) and have raised our family. We have the joy of being the grandparents of five young people, most of whom now tower above me!
I have been a Local Preacher for some years in the Barnard Castle & Teesdale Circuit, and the Kenyan Partnership Link Coordinator for the District. I served as District President for MWiB for three years during lockdown and the dreadful pandemic and now continue as a member of the District Co-ordinating Team, a wonderful group of women who have taught me so much.
MWiB has given me a greater awareness of the injustices of women both at home and overseas and how, even if only in small ways, with God’s help we can make a difference. So, I look forward to supporting the development and engagement of circuit and district involvement in our movement as we strive to enable, empower & equip women to serve Christ and make him known.
