Liz is Forum Rep for the Southampton District, 2019-2022.
Born a Methodist and still attending the church in Salisbury where I was christened and, following in my Mum’s footsteps, have been involved with the Women’s movements for over 50 years.
My journey began as the Young Wives rep on the District Women’s Fellowship committee and continued through the joining of Women’s Fellowship and Women’s Work to becoming Women’s Network. And now we are about to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of MWiB and becoming the British Unit of the World Federation.
Over the years we have had a variety of District Partnerships and are in the second year of learning more about Fiji and how they are managing climate change and are raising money to buy boats for two of the villages to enable them to get to safety when there is flooding.
At my church I belong to our Handbell team, have recently become a Worship Leader and am the Accommodation Team Leader, responsible for the office and use of our premises. I also enjoy flower arranging and photography.
