A very brief blog tonight, after an extremely busy weekend at Connexional MWiB Forum. We have deliberated and debated, considered and conversed, pondered and prayed. We have covered diverse topics – dementia, female genital mutilation, the refugee situation, visual impairment, to name just a few.
Most of the Forum reps are now back at home, some as far away as Shetland and the Channel Islands. Sandra Goodwin and I have enjoyed catching up with Linda Crossley in Brighouse this evening and will travel tomorrow to Epworth Old Rectory for talks about possible next steps in our partnership with this Methodist Heritage site. I will catch a train home from Doncaster tomorrow evening.
It has been a full but satisfying weekend. I never cease to be amazed at the energy and commitment which these forty women exhibit and am delighted to be able to work with them! The photo shows Carolyn addressing the meeting this morning.
