Life can be like this
Sometimes life seems to be all uphill, climbing the ladder of success, trying so hard to reach the seemingly unreachable, wondering whether we have the strength to get to where we want to be.
Fortunately when we do make it to the top there can be a sense of achievement when we can then step down into the place we want to be, and know that the climb was worth it.
Lord, God, we know that there will be hard times to face and so as we put all of our energy into dealing with the difficulties ahead of us, we remember that you had the hardest time of all. We thank you for the cross on Calvary where you died for us to save us from our sinful nature.
So then we reach out for your steadfast love. We feel your presence in our lives and we are thankful that you will guide us beyond the difficulties and ladders we must climb into greener pastures where your love will give us the strength and hope we need.
Our hope is in you alone.
Psalm 81 v6 “I have taken the burden off your back and the basket from your hands”
Thank you, Father God that you are there for us in the times of struggle. You lift us up when we fall down and you give us the strength we need when life is hard. We are forever thankful for the beauty of your creation. We continue to look forward with hope. Amen
