After blogging about not neglecting family on Monday, I promptly came away to London for two MWiB meetings! I stayed with friends at Morden on Monday night and left early on Tuesday to travel to Hammersmith to meet our youngest daughter, Katie, for breakfast. She agreed to take a selfie for the blog!
I left her to go on to the Swanwick weekend planning task group at Methodist Church House. We were glad when the whole group had arrived safely, after challenging and sometimes difficult journeys. At the end of the day we went our separate ways and Alison, Gillian and I headed to Highbury and Islington. Linda and Liz arrived eventually, after train journeys which had also been delayed. We have our November executive meeting back at Methodist Church House tomorrow.
It was a lovely surprise for me when Ken, my husband, joined us for supper, as he is also in London for two days, on voluntary business with the National Association of Local Councils.
So, today, two members of my family have been able to share another part, briefly, of my MWiB story.
