Yesterday I had a fascinating morning with Sue Nickson, visiting Lea Gardens, near Matlock. It was a real break after the four days of leading the Notts and Derby District Days at Willersley Castle. I then came across to Epworth, where Sue Leese and I went to help with some of the final preparations for the MWiB exhibition, Transforming the World from the Kitchen. We have indeed transformed the back kitchen at Epworth, thanks especially to Sarah Braisdell, our researcher, and Gillian Crawley, development manager at the Old Rectory.
The exhibition is open to the public now – see the Epworth Old Rectory website here for details of opening hours.
