I have awoken to a beautiful spring morning back home here in Devon. The suitcase is unpacked, the washing done, and today I shall turn my attention to preparations for the March executive meeting and the Swanwick weekend.
Sunday morning was spent at our all age ecumenical Fair Trade breakfast service, and it was good to be back. I will post more photos of the Epworth exhibition over the next few days, but today I want to show you a photo from yesterday. Hamish is two years old and loves to play his guitar, especially in the worship band. We try wherever possible to help people to feel included in the life of our church, and so Hamish is allowed to strum along. Here he is sitting with Louisa on the edge of the village hall stage, between songs.
We are very proud of Louisa, too, who sings and plays keyboard with us. Yesterday she was joint winner of the Taunton Young Musical Theatre Singer of the Year! All those years of practice, together with her natural talent, have been recognised. Well done, Louisa. I wonder how things will develop for Hamish?
