I have this evening been corresponding with Lynne Ling, who has worked closely with MWiB on ‘Aloneness’ and ‘Journeying Spiritually with Children’, resources produced by Shoreline Conversations.
This year Shoreline Conversations have produced the Lent resources for Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. Lynne will be interviewed live on air by 10 local radio presenters at the Chelmsford BBC recording studios between 7am and 9am tomorrow, Sunday 7 February (3 Counties Radio, Cumbria Live, Tees Live, Jersey Live, Guernsey Live, Manchester Live, Norfolk Live, Leicester Live, Wiltshire Live and Lancashire Live). She will then drive to Leytonstone to be interviewed during a service at a church that will be using the pilgrimage material as their Lent study course.
Next weekend, 14 February, Lynne and Ruth Harvey will be jointly leading the BBC Radio 4 Sunday service broadcast at 8.10am from a church in Didsbury, Manchester. Lynne writes “We count this a fantastic opportunity to speak about our thinking on pilgrimage and journeying through life in general – a style involving the art of gracious conversation and respect for others’ points of view.”
