Home again tonight, after a trip up to Walsall to share stories with almost fifty women at the Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury MWiB District Day. District MWiB President Jean Woodland is photographed here as she opened the day. Much care had gone into the preparation of refreshments, stalls and worship focus. I was grateful to those who made sure that projectors and microphones worked. The pianist played beautifully. I enjoyed gracious hospitality last night and also this evening, before catching my train home. Old friendships renewed, new friendships made, stories exchanged, faith shared. Worth the travel and the tiredness!
