I spent an hour or so watching the world go by yesterday afternoon as I waited for my train from St Pancras to Derby.  I arrived here at Willersley Castle near Matlock yesterday evening and unpacked my suitcase again.  Almost 100 women from the Nottingham and Derby District are booked in for today’s event, and then slightly smaller groups will follow throughout the week, until Thursday.

The first sound to greet me as I entered my room was the gentle hooting of an owl in the woods outside.  You may know how much I treasure the sight of a kingfisher.  The sound of an owl is similarly special!

I hope you are enjoying the new website.  Mark Howard and Lynne Ling have expended vast amounts of time and effort helping us to get it to this stage and I am very grateful to them for their expertise.  Do encourage people in your churches, circuits and districts to have a look around it.  It is worth exploring!
