Today has been so good. There has been a steady stream of visitors to our little chapel in Halberton to see Jackie Smith’s ‘Sew Spiritual’ quilts. Friends from all over the Plymouth and Exeter District and beyond have made the journey to view the quilts and share conversation over coffee and tea. Local friends have called in, too, some of them returning later with other friends. There is still another opportunity to see the exhibition tomorrow afternoon between 3 and 5pm.
I love this photo. Jackie and Hazel have both written ‘Prayer for the Week’ for the MWiB website, but had never met before today. It was lovely to introduce them to each other at last and to see them sharing stories.
