I have valued the opportunity to take a break from the busy-ness of my MWiB role, and to spend a few quieter days recently. We are fortunate to live near to the Grand Western Canal and we often enjoy the tranquility of a trip on the water at the weekend. This photo was taken a couple of Sundays ago.
Another resource which has come to our attention over recent months is Alison Woolley’s ‘Seeds of Silence’, which may be of particular interest to those of you in the Bradford area. For more information go to www.seedsofsilence.org.uk. This is a taste of what you will find at the website:
‘Seeds of Silence is a Christian project based in Bradford.
It also works with people across the UK.
Seeds of Silence helps people to explore how a prayerful discipline of silence can deepen their relationship with God, with themselves, with other people, and with all of creation.
The project has emerged from the findings of research into the value and impact of a spiritual discipline of silence in the faith lives of Christians today.’
