A brief blog this morning. I must finish the last of my packing in time to catch the morning train to Derbyshire for the MWiB Forum at The Hayes Conference Centre this weekend. Please pray for the women who will be travelling there today and tomorrow from all over the Connexion. We have a very full agenda!
I thought I would compose a sort of still life of just some of the things I shall be taking with me to Swanwick. Here they are, in no particular order of significance.
Caramel wafers to share with Deborah on the train journey this morning. Sweets for Forum members to suck through the long business meetings over the weekend. All We Can resources to take back home to the Districts. Bible and prayer handbook to keep us focussed. Highlighter to flag up things I need to remember. The presidential cross, so that I remember that I am supposed to be in charge! And the all-important train tickets!
Tomorrow I hope to share with you a photo of people, not things!
