Cumbria Deacons Tell Their Stories

Cumbria MWiB had their first meeting of the year at Penrith MC on 13th June, where our  three Deacons told us about their calling to the Diaconal Order and what that means in their daily lives.

We started our time together with the MDO Daily Morning Prayer, shared with those who normally attended the church’s Tuesday Service and ended our meeting with the Evening Examen. In between, we learned of their Rule of Life and personal stories – all three Deacons sharing so openly about their personal stories of  God’s calling and working in their lives, and also encouraging all present to share together in small groups. It was a day of rich blessing, learning and as always, fellowship together.
