Porto here I come !
My family will tell you that by nature I am an owl rather than a lark and even the extra hour from adjusting our clocks last weekend did little to help.
So they would be surprised to hear that I managed to take advantage of the Early Bird booking Deal for the 11th Joint European Area Seminar in Porto in June next year. The deal ends on Nov 4th so if you are considering going you could save some money by remembering to book before then.
The seminar “ Grounded in Love” is being hosted by the World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women (European area) and promises a full programme of speakers, Bible studies and workshops. Craft activities and visits are also being planned. Area seminars have been described as colourful joyful and meaningful and provide an opportunity meet and grow with women across Europe. Having visited Porto a few years ago I am looking forward to finding time to visit this lovely city again while I am there.
Michelle Obama once said that there is no limit to what we as women can accomplish. Events such as this give us an opportunity to share and grow by sharing the bigger picture and empowering each other.
I cannot tell you how excited I am to be all booked up!!!!!
