All that kills abundant living, let it from the earth be banned;
pride of status, race or schooling, dogmas that obscure your plan.
In our common quest for justice may we hallow life’s brief span.
2 Corinthians 8 v 14-15
Abundant living is beyond our regular life, moving out of our comfort zones. We have faith in Jesus, the provider of abundance, and through our faith and trust in him our priorities change personally and the worldly ideals are less significant. We must keep our eyes on Jesus to maintain the abundance he gives. Pride has no place in our status, education or race if the principles of living in the Lord are ignored in his plan for each one of us and abundance occurs.
Let us Pray: Thank you Lord, for the chance to keep the abundance of your love and care in our daily lives. May justice for all be a big part of our desire impartiality, fairness proper and reasonable in the laws. We ask that you will guide us in our actions that as Methodist Women in Britain we will continue to be for women, for justice, for Christ. We ask this prayer in the name of Jesus, the source of all our blessings. Amen
