Matthew 11 v 28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
As many of you will know we like to go on cruises, the photo is me on Ventura in 2008. We have again enjoyed another cruise on this ship with some friends. It is important in our busy lives that we all take a break from the routine. We can come back refreshed and ready to continue our lives and witness for Jesus. Our actions often speak louder than any words and can be an important witness of how Jesus teaches us to be humble before God.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father we come to you in our busy lives asking that we may always give time to give thanks to you for your ever presence with us. We thank you for the opportunities you give us to take breaks and renew our bodies and minds. May each one of us put you first in everything we do and say.
