Our weekend starts on Friday evening and finishes after lunch on Sunday. Accommodation is in ensuite bedrooms and all meals are provided. The programme includes worship, bible study and creative prayer, plus more light-hearted activities and an opportunity to discover what WDP is all about.
Main speaker for the weekend: Rev Laura Hewitt
Laura Hewitt, our main speaker, was ordained 16 years ago and is currently the Vicar of St James, New Barnet. Laura is very involved with New Wine and was their first woman Regional Director. She set up ‘Inspire’ – a mini New Wine for the North. Her passion is to enable all to walk a spirit filled life as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Saturday evening entertainment: Anna Nicholson
Meet the nominees for Woman of the Year in her award-winning character comedy show; a Geordie Instagram star, a vicar with a rival, a mischievous granny and a bra saleswoman stirring up the next generation. Who will win? You decide.
