I decided that I needed to stay home based today, partly to do at least some token housework, partly to catch up on some MWiB tasks. This morning I had a long and productive telephone conversation with Sarah Braisdell, our researcher, who is doing a fantastic job in pulling together the story of Methodist women’s movements throughout the years. Next week Sarah and I will be going to the Mission Shaped Heritage Conference at Cliff College and sharing the story of our partnership with Epworth Old Rectory, where we will be opening an exhibition, ‘Transforming the World from the Kitchen’ next spring.

We are particularly indebted to Jo, Methodist Heritage Officer, for her unstinting support in this venture.
I look forward to sharing stories with Steve Wild and Jill Barber next week, and am also delighted that Jill will be our keynote speaker at the MWiB Swanwick weekend in April next year.
