After the second day of Shoreline Conversations training in Exeter on Tuestay I came straight up to London, where I have been staying with friends. These past two days have been planned for some time – quality time together after a difficult year for one of us. We saw Lion King at The Lyceum yesterday and the Peanuts Movie in Croydon today. Tomorrow I shall head to Methodist Church House for the final planning task group meeting to prepare for the Swanwick residential weekend in April.
Time spent with ‘old’ friends is precious and I am grateful for this opportunity. We have exchanged stories, taken time over meals and laughed a lot. We share our Christian faith, and so we have also thanked God for our friendship and our time together.
