Today I chaired my first task group meeting, as five of us met at Methodist Central Hall Westminster to plan for the MWiB concert there on 21 May 2016 featuring Paul Field and Garth Hewitt. This will mark the culmination of our work focussing around issues affecting the Dalits and we hope that many people will join us at this event. Details of how to book tickets will be available in September. I have already heard of one District where they are planning to make a weekend of their visit – travelling up on Friday, sightseeing on Saturday morning, attending the concert in the afternoon and worshipping in a London church on Sunday morning, before returning home. We hope that because we are holding the concert from three until five many people will consider coming as a group. Tickets will be priced at £5 each.
