I popped in to Cliff College Festival yesterday morning and evening, where I met Loraine and John Mellor. Loraine will be inducted as President of Methodist Conference in Birmingham in less than a month’s time, with Jill Baker as Vice President. For those of you new to Methodist Women in Britain, Jill was the first president when the charity was set up in 2011.
It has been lovely to catch up here at Cliff College with several of the women whom I have met as I have travelled around the Districts across the Connexion over my past two years as MWiB President. Please pray also for Sandra Goodwin as she prepares for her commissioning as the next MWiB President on Friday 23 June, also at Conference in Birmingham.
