Yorkshire West District MWiB group recently held their annual Celebration and Dedication Service with Holy Communion at West Wakefield Methodist Church. It was led by Rev’d Kerry Tankard, Chair of the District, assisted byRev’d Naomi Kaiga. Janice Clark, our Area Trustee, led the dedication. The service was preceded by a business meeting where Janice introduced us to the changes to the organisation of MWiB Connexionally.
The next District meeting will be at Lindley Methodist Church, Huddersfield on Saturday, November 25th. Entitled ‘Seeking Sanctuary in the UK – Stories of Courage’, guest speakers will include women refugees from the Ukraine and Rev’d Sarah Jemison, Chair of Beacon, Bradford.
