Still on the theme of telling stories! Today I have enjoyed meeting new people and old friends and sharing stories in many different contexts, here at the Mission Shaped Heritage Conference at Cliff College. We have shared stories from long ago, which have made us laugh and made us think. We have considered how we need to learn from stories of the past as well as share our current stories of life and faith. We have visited the Old Rectory and St Andrew’s Church in Epworth and tonight considered how we use our buildings in our communities and to communicate our faith. To conclude the evening a group of us have sat together drinking hot chocolate and sharing all sorts of stories before retiring for the night.
