It was especially good for me to be able to spend time with Liz Burroughs (centre), a member of MWiB Connexional Forum who is from the Cornwall District. For many women, who lead busy lives working in their communities, caring for family members and carrying multiple responsibilities, the opportunity to come away for a few days and enjoy the hospitality of a place like Treloyhan Manor is an oasis. For others, who live alone and are perhaps less active than they once were, the opportunity to come away and share company is precious for different reasons. In the letter to the Hebrews, chapter 10, verses 24 and 25, (New International Version) we read these words:
‘And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another’
