Yesterday I wrote about the concert with Paul Field and Garth Hewitt in London next May to mark the culmination of our work highlighting the plight of the Dalit people. We are very conscious of the fact that their story goes on and must continue to be told. Recently we have been made aware of an exhibition at the International Slavery Museum in Liverpool called ‘Broken Lives: slavery in modern India’. The exhibition runs until April next year. Follow the link below to the museum website, which also gives details of talks and conversations taking place in connection with the exhibition, for example one in September about ethical fashion in conjunction with Stop the Traffik.
