Understanding Immigration in the UK Today
“The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt.” — Leviticus 19:34
Dear Siblings,
In our “Let’s Talk About It!” series, we have committed to bringing the light of Christ into the corners of life that often stay in the shadows. This May, we are turning our attention to a topic that is frequently in the headlines but often misunderstood in our hearts: Immigration.
We live in a time of complex laws and shifting borders, where the “migrant journey” is often reduced to statistics or political debate. As a movement of women committed to justice, we ask: What is the reality behind the legal jargon? How do we separate myth from truth? And most importantly, how can the Church respond with both wisdom and Christ-centred compassion to those navigating life’s most challenging transitions?
Our Honoured Guest
We are privileged to welcome a sister who sits at the vital intersection of law, faith, and social impact:

Her work sits at the intersection of law, faith, and social impact—offering not only legal solutions but holistic support to those facing some of life’s most challenging transitions.
She is known for her ability to break down complex legal issues into accessible, real-life understanding.
