Prayer for the Week — Empowerment
God of Resurrection Light,
who breathes courage into weary hearts
and stirs new strength where we thought there was none,
shine on us today.
Empower us with the quiet boldness of your Spirit —
not the loud confidence the world demands,
but the steady assurance that we are held,
called, and gifted for your purposes.
Where we doubt ourselves,
speak your truth of who we are.
Where we shrink back,
stretch our imaginations toward what is possible.
Where we feel small or overlooked,
remind us that your power is made perfect in weakness.
May your Spirit rise within us
like fire kindling from a single spark —
warming, guiding, and sending us
to act with justice,
to speak with kindness,
to serve with joy.
Make us women of courage,
women of compassion,
women who carry your light into the places
that long for hope.
In your empowering love we pray. Amen.
