Justice: Psalm 11 4-7
The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them. The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence his soul hates. On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulphur; a scorching wind will be their lot. For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice.
Reflection: Justice is moral principle that seeks equality and fairness. The Bible reflects God’s expectations on how we behave as humans. Micah 6 v 8 says “Justice involves acting justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with God”. We should follow this teaching in our daily lives and live by God’s commandments. Then we become powerful examples to all the blessings God provides to those who seek Justice.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, there are so many distractions in this world, which cause us to suffer when we turn away from You and Your word. Help us to concentrate on You and direct our paths to discover Your will for each of us every day. Amen
