Dear Lord God
We wonder at the beauty of your creation; each new season with its own uniqueness, the frost, the morning dew, and the world awakening after the long winter.
We are grateful for signs of spring as the days begin to lengthen and Earth warms again.
We thank You for light, birdsong and budding trees, sunset at day’s end, and the starry patterns on the night sky.
We thank you that you love us with all your heart and that, through Jesus, you offer us an everlasting relationship with you, leading to life in all its fullness.
God of forgiveness, you know our every weakness, and as we draw near to you, we rejoice in your promise that in repentance and rest is our salvation and in quietness and trust is our strength.
With each breath we take, Lord, may we breathe in your presence and know your Holy Spirit within us.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Saviour, we pray.
