Creator God, how wonderful are your works that at times we cannot fathom the extent of
your goodness.
You weave a web so intricate and beautiful that we look on in awe at the complexity of
this world.
We look above and marvel at the vibrant rainbow, the twinkling stars and far away planets.
We have seen the brightly coloured fish, the coral and the pearl filled oysters down on the
ocean bed.
Yet Lord, we take your creation for granted and fail in our stewardship of your handiwork.
The ozone layer becomes depleted when we release chemicals and CO2 emissions that
cause the earth to over heat.
We discard plastics and non-degradable items the choke and kill marine life.
We ask forgiveness for our carelessness and greed that has caused the damage of your
creation.
If only we would come together as one family and work collectively with you to care for
the earth we could spin a web so beautifully formed that your glory would be seen and
your name praised throughout the world.
