Prayer for the Week – Healing
God of Resurrection Light,
whose mercy rises with the morning,
and whose tenderness meets us in every wound,
we come to you seeking healing.
Where bodies ache, bring ease.
Where minds are troubled, bring calm.
Where spirits feel dimmed or forgotten,
breathe again your restoring breath.
Gather up the pieces of our days
that feel fractured or fragile.
Hold gently the stories we carry,
the ones spoken aloud
and the ones we whisper only to you.
May your healing flow through us
like warmth returning to cold hands,
like blossom opening after long winter,
like hope rekindled in the quiet places.
Make us bearers of that healing, too —
listening with compassion,
speaking with kindness,
walking with those who wait for wholeness.
God of Easter hope and living light,
shine upon us now,
and make us whole in your love. Amen.
