Heavenly Father,
We offer to you this week all of our thoughts, words and actions,
all of our sufferings and disappointments, and all our joys.
We pray that as the days grow darker, we remember that He is the great light that will bring us to the Kingdom of Heaven.
Jesus taught us that those who follow His word are the light of the world, and a city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
Lord, we pray that our light shines before others so they may see our good works, and we glorify you, our Father in Heaven.
Lord, grant that none may love you less this week because of us. That never a word or act of ours may turn one soul away from you.
For one more grace we pray, that many souls this week, because of our works, may love you more. Amen.
